facial cleansers & anti-wrinkle creams

When it comes to your skincare routine, it doesn’t matter how many miracle working, anti-ageing, anti-wrinkling creams you use; if you are not preparing your skin by using the right cleanser to suit your skin type then you won’t get the best from the rest of your skincare products.

When choosing a cleanser it is important to establish what type of skin you have; there are two main categories, dry/sensitive and normal/combination. If you have dry/sensitive skin you will need a cleanser that is extra-moisturizing, preferably with a thick or balmy texture. This will give your skin a moisture boost and will also care for your skin, leaving it soft and nourished. If your skin is a combination then it is best to go for a cleanser that is not only moisturising, but also contains ingredients that prevent spot-break-outs and combat an oily t-zone.

Cleansing is crucial for maintaining a fresh and healthy complexion. You should cleanse your skin twice a day, once in the morning, and then once in the evening. You should cleanse in the morning because at night your body detoxifies and your skin is one way the toxins come out. It is just as important to cleanse at night as daily pollution and dirt can clog up your pores and dry out your skin. A nightly cleanse can clean the skin and restore any lost moisture and radiance.
