Invite to a Dinner Party

My good friend Caroline Stanbury invited me to a very cosy dinner party in her beautiful Holland Park house. A great mix of old and new friends made the evening very chilled. Fellow guest Brian Adams told me about his latest photo shoot for Tatler and talked about his upcoming holidays in Mustique. Caroline is a fantastic hostess, I had a wonderful time!

Summer 09 Trends by Kim Harsov

Kim Hersov hosted a fantastic evening at Louis Vuitton Sloane Street the other day. Acid colours, safari theme and oversized accessories were the main trends and Kim showed us how to combine some of Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer pieces with less expensive basics, such as black skinny jeans or blue jean shorts for a look that is effortlessly chic and edgy at the same time. A great event, with champagne flowing and a beautiful goodie back with Louis Vuitton's fab golden candle in it.

Bella Freud Tea Party

I hosted a private sale and xmas tea party at home for my friend Bella Freud. I love Bella's fitted knit tops with the fun designs and logo, they are very edgy and wear them with skinny jeans and flats.

Bella was there to show her latest AW08 Collection and we both invited our friends to spend a fun afternoon drinking tea and eating pink cupcakes while shopping Bella and Rodial. A percentage of the proceeds went to two charities - CLIC Sargent and The Hoping Foundation.

A really fun and girly event, all the guests loved it and Bella suggested we do it every year!

Asprey Xmas Party

Last night, I went to Asprey's annual Xmas party at their fabulous Bond Street Store. A star studded evening in a space decorated huge white and silver Christmas trees detailed with Swarovski crystals.

The distinct aroma from purple water candles throughout the store and Cafe del Mar and Buddha Bar music, added to the atmosphere of celebration. Asprey cocktails and a selection of canapés were served.

On the evening, Asprey displayed its latest "feather" collection and which my friend and one of the designers, Amandine Mallen, was wearing, and looked spectacular.

I am now writing my letter to Santa, hoping to get one these gorgeous pieces for Christmas!

Hollywood Domino

My dear friend Caroline Stanbury recently launched a fabulous gift website gift-library.com and she is telling me the best selling item is the Hollywood Domino. Used by A-Listers including, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Charlize Theron and Kate Hudson, it is THE gaming sensation sweeping Hollywood and beyond. Caroline was a darling and brought it to me as a dinner party gift last week and this is now my latest addiction!
