After a busy week it was great to spend a couple of days in Cannes during the film festival. Although the city was hectic, I had a really relaxing, fun trip and managed to squeeze a lot in!
I loved hanging out with my friend Erin O’Connor at the Carlton Beach Club during the day, discussing beauty, fashion and balancing work and family life.
After catching up with Erin and a couple other friends who were also in Cannes, I began prepping for the Chopard party which was that evening. I had my hair and make up artist, Gemma Wheatcroft, with me. She did a strong smokey eye which was perfect such a glamorous occasion and used a combination of our Rodial powders to ensure my make up lasted in the heat!
I wore a leather Balmain crop top and long skirt and Erin wore an amazing Ralph and Russo gown. It was such a fabulous evening and a really great way to end the trip.
Until next year Cannes!
I’m so excited to reveal that Rodial are collaborating with one of my favourite designers, Mary Katrantzou on a beautiful printed and scented candle! We kicked off the launch of the candle with a fabulous tea party for press and celebs yesterday afternoon with Jodie Kidd, Marie Helvin, Yasmin Mills, Lauren Kemp and Lara Bohinc among the guests in attendance. The tea party was held in the gorgeous Terrace Suite at the Soho Hotel with macarons, prosecco and mini cakes flowing, it was the perfect way to spend a summer’s afternoon. I wore one of Mary’s fabulous designs complete with a layer of Brazilian tan dark and sky high wedges. I can’t wait for the candle to be available soon!
The Serpentine Summer Party, London’s biggest event and the unofficial summer party season opener proved bigger and better than ever this year with some of the biggest A-listers making an appearance to enjoy the festivities. Drawing an elite crowd, everyone from Kate Moss to Sarah Jessica Parker and Naomi Campbell were in attendance at the star studded soiree last night. Hosted by L’Wren Scott and with an understated 1920’s theme, it was definitely a night to remember as guests sipped on signature cocktails and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I wore a floor length Julien Macdonald gown and felt a million dollars, my fave Serpentine party of the last 5 years!
